Professional Development

Teacher Induction participants are required to attend ESS sessions that focus on ILP development, peer review, and preparation for culminating conversations.    Teacher Induction participants are also required to complete 10 hours of professional development during each inquiry cycle.  They will choose professional development that meets their Individual Learning Plan goals.  The professional development can be ESS provided (asynchronous sessions completed collaboratively between the participant and mentor) or any other learning opportunities that support ILP goals.

Administrator Induction candidates are required to attend CPSEL training sessions and CASC Collaborative sessions.  CASC candidates must complete 20 hours of professional development during each year of program participation.  In addition to the PD provided by the program, candidates will choose professional development that meets their Individual Leadership Plan goals.

Candidates will document their professional learning on the Professional Development Documentation record on the ILP.
